From Ablad to Zima and everyone in between, the only thing certain about the list of players who have played for the Devils is that it is not getting any smaller. The list represents a mixture of personalities, abilities and memories.

Some players on the list stayed in Cardiff for only a few days, hours even. Others, meanwhile, thought they would give it a shot and ended up hanging around for decades. There are some players that Devils fans know simply by their number, nickname or goal celebration and there are others that fans wouldn’t know if they smacked them in the face with their hockey stick.
 
There are legends like Lawless, hard men like MacWilliam, those who gave us a glimpse at NHL talent and others who could barely skate, but they all have one thing in common. Whether they were on the roster carousel in 2001/02 or the first players to ever call themselves the “Cardiff Devils”, everyone here has, at least once, pulled the club’s jersey over their head, giving their time and effort to the organisation.
 
No matter what happened on the ice, they represented the Devils. And we should thank them all for that.
