Following the tragic passing of Nottingham Panthers player, Adam Johnson, on Saturday and the postponement of Sunday’s away game in Coventry, we have been collaborating with our fellow Elite League clubs regarding this week’s scheduled games.
All games taking place this weekend will be organised with appropriate and fitting tributes to Adam Johnson. The Elite League will give further details of the planned tributes ahead of the weekend, and we hope that fans from around the league will feel able to come together to pay tribute to Adam as part of what is a very sad and difficult process for everyone.
Collectively, we have decided to postpone our home fixture scheduled for Wednesday 1st November and there are changes to the teams we will be playing this upcoming weekend.
WEDNESDAY 1st NOVEMBER v DUNDEE STARS - This game has been postponed and will be rescheduled for later this season. All tickets purchased will be transferred to the new date once confirmed. Should you have a query regarding your booking please email [email protected] quoting your order ID.
SUNDAY 5th NOVEMBER MOVES TO SATURDAY 4th - Sunday's home game originally scheduled against the Sheffield Steelers moves to Saturday 4th November and we will now play at home v Manchester Storm, FO 7pm. All tickets purchased for Sunday's game will be transferred to the home game on Saturday. If you purchased a ticket and are unable to attend the new home game date of Saturday 4th November, please email [email protected] with your order ID before 5pm on Thursday 2nd November. You will be issued with a match night ticket voucher to redeem for a future game of your choice.
SUNDAY 5th NOVEMBER - We will now play an away game at Glasgow Clan, FO 6pm.
We would ask for your patience and understanding while we navigate enquiries relating to the fixture dates scheduled.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for the love and support extended to Adam Johnson’s family, teammates, players, staff and fellow fans of the Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers.
