The Cardiff Devils are pleased to confirm the signing of netminder Tyler Wall.
The 25-year-old Canadian is a former 6th round NHL Draft pick of the New York Rangers and spent two seasons in the Rangers system with the Hartford Wolfpack after graduating from UMass-Lowell. Wall played four years at UMass, starting more than 100 games with a save percentage over his University career of 91.8% and a career goals against average of 2.28. He led his team to the Hockey East Regular Season Title and the Hockey East Championship in 2016-17.

Last season, Wall played 35 games for the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL, posting a 2.58 goals against average and a 91.2% save rate. He won ECHL Goaltender of the Week twice during the 2022-23 season.

The Devils expect to have Tyler in the line-up for this weekend's games against the Coventry Blaze. Tyler will wear number 1 for the Devils.
