This Sunday, the kids are taking over when the Devils host the Nottingham Panthers at Vindico Arena. Don't forget about the early face-off at 4pm.
STILL NEED A TICKET - We are sold out, but we are offering a buyback for season ticket holders. If you can't make the game, we will offer you a choice of a webcast, or £10 merchandise voucher or a £10 ticket voucher to use for a future game - then we will take back your seats and sell them on. With the earlier face-off we need to know by 10:00am on Sunday so you need to email us on [email protected] with your seat information.
WHO'S IN CHARGE - Our Kids Takeover Game will see our younger fans taking over the game day jobs - from handing out clap banners, to selling raffle tickets, to directing fans to their seats, to announcing the team onto the ice.
CLAP BANNERS - First things first, some of our new staff will be handing out clap banners when you enter the Arena. Big thanks to Harlequin Print for providing the clap banners for this game and all season long.
WARM UP JERSEYS - We have specially designed jerseys that are too good to show you just yet but they were designed by one of our 8 year old fans and they are awesome. They will all be available to win in a full team Shirt Off His Back raffle. Check out some of the designs below:
SPECIAL KIDS DAY PROGRAMME - Pick up a copy of the match night programme covering Sunday and Wednesday's game with profiles on River Rymsha, stats, autograph pages for Crawford and Barrow and much, much more.
WHO'S HOT - Ben Bowns is having his best statistical season as a Cardiff Devil. He has a save percentage of 92.95% in league play and a goals against average of just 2.36. He also has 6 shutouts this season in league and Challenge Cup action.
SCORING STREAK - Brandon Alderson has goals in his last three games and now has 17 goals on the season. The big man was a beast all over the ice on Wednesday night against Sheffield with some big hits and the goal late in the second period that made it 2-0 for the Devils.
CELE IN STYLE - Nobody celebrates goals like Jamie Arniel and he has celebrated plenty this season. The 34 year old Canadian scored another big goal on Wednesday with 11:14 to play to make it 3-0. He now is second on the team in goals with 21 in 47 games.
CHUCK A PUCK - Pick up your foam pucks to throw on the ice during the second intermission. Pucks are available from all our game night sales stands throughout the Arena. You have 5 chances to win either a £25 or £100 merchandise voucher.
POST GAME SKATE WITH THE GUYS - The kids (and everyone else) are invited to join the Devils on the ice after the game for a postgame skate. Bring your own skates or you can rent them after the match from skate hire and hit the ice to meet your favourite players and get some autographs or photos.
GETTING HERE AND GETTING PARKED - If you need a lift, call our ride partner VEEZU or download their App and book a ride to or from the game on your phone. If you are driving and looking to park, the best option is the former Toys R Us carpark - check out all our parking options HERE. Also it is worth noting that there is a swimming gala this weekend, which makes parking even tougher. Morrisons offers 3 hour free parking and you can extend it if you book through their App.
CAN'T MAKE THE GAME - You can still watch it live on DEVILS TV with the webcast going live 15 minutes before faceoff on Sunday, so 3:45pm against the Panthers.
