The former NHL draft pick joins the Devils after a brief stint with Lowen Frankfurt of the top league in Germany.
Last season he also spent time with the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the American Hockey League and Kansas City in the ECHL. The previous season he 20 games for Maine in the ECHL posting a 2.73 goals against average and a save percentage of 91.6%,
Booth is a UK passport holder but is still listed as an import in the EIHL because of where he grew up playing his youth hockey (Canada). He is an athletic goaltender and at 6’4” tall, he is an imposing figure in the crease.
He will share the goaltending duties with GB International Ben Bowns and eventually hopes to play for the National Team as well.
