BAD BATCH - Defenceman Josh Batch will make a triumphant return on Saturday night after serving his ban and paying his fine for being the aggressor in his fight last weekend in Guildford. NEWFOUNDLAND'S FINEST - Cody Donaghey (number 44) is playing some of his best hockey as a Devil right now, partnering with Andrew MacWilliam (number 2) on the back end to form an absolutely awesome defensive pairing. The other Newfoundlander we are extremely happy about is Zach O'Brien (number 86) who had a big opening weekend with a goal and two assists over the two games.
POWERFUL POWERPLAY - Our powerplay was on fire last weekend going 2 for 6 with the man advantage, which is 33%. Sure, it's only been two games, but we'll take it. And we'll take more game winners on the powerplay from Reid Duke. We caught up with the Duke of Cardiff Bay earlier this week, watch the interview below:
