The 2024-25 Cardiff Devils finally hit the ice this week ahead of the first pre-season games on Friday and Saturday. Here’s everything you need to know about the week ahead.
WHO’S IN – Well, almost everyone has arrived safely. We have a couple of guys that will miss the first two games (Riley Brandt and Kohen Olischefski), but they are scheduled to arrive for the start of next week (commencing 19th August) and will play against Team GB and Belfast. Fans are looking forward to seeing this guy back after two seasons away.
WHO’S JOINING THEM – We have a handful of players joining the main squad for pre-season including 4 players from the Bristol Pitbulls - Bayley Harewood (pictured below), Sean Morris, Jacob White-Sey and Tyler de la Bertouche. We also have 16-year-old GB prospect Joe Tomalin spending training camp with the Devils. Tomalin will play for the Romford Raiders in the NIHL this season.
FIRST LOOK – If you are a season ticket holder, you can join us on Wednesday evening as the Devils hit the ice at 6:00pm for an open training session. The guys will be mingling with fans after their ice time so stick around to meet the new guys and to say hello to the returnees from last season. Doors open at 5:15pm – CLICK HERE for full details.
JERSEYS – The new jerseys are already on sale ONLINE HERE and we will have a limited number of replicas in stock starting on Wednesday night.

GAME TIME – The Devils host Herlev Eagles from Denmark in two pre-season games on Friday and Saturday night. Both games face off at 7:00pm and there are still plenty of tickets - CLICK HERE to book online or call us on 0800 0842 666. All seats are just £10* (£11.25 including booking fees).
DOORS OPEN – Remember that doors open 90 minutes before face-off all season long, so from 5:30pm both nights this weekend. Get here early to catch up with your hockey pals before the puck drops at 7:00pm.
POSTGAME SKATE - After Saturday's game, you are welcome to join the players on the ice for a postgame skate, so bring your skates with you or rent them from the Arena for just £3.00.
