Biography

Cole Ully is another new face for the Devils in 2023-24.

The Canadian forward joins the Devils after an injury shortened season in 2022-23 that limited him to just a handful of games with Vasterviks IK in Sweden.

The prior season in 2021-22 he iced for HK Poprad in Slovakia’s top league, playing alongside two other new Devils, Jamie Arniel and River Rymsha.  Ully scored 14 goals and 20 asssists in 32 games with Poprad before getting injured.

Before making the move to Europe, Ully was voted on to the ECHL 2nd All-Star team in 2020-21 after leading the South Carolina Stingrays in scoring with 24 goals and 36 assists for 60 points in 54 games. 

Ully is a former 5th round NHL draft pick by the Dallas Stars.  He was drafted after his second season with the Western Hockey League’s Kamloops Blazers, one of the top amateur programs in Canada.  He played four seasons in Kamloops, leading the team in scoring his final year scoring 34 goals and 60 assists for 94 points in 69 games.
